phorbesie
when i try to download any show off the archive, it gets stuck partway through. it seems to happen every time. if i try to download song by song instead (which is a huge pain in the ass) i can eventually get it done, because even though it still gets stuck, when i try again it picks up where it left off. but i seem to be unable to download a whole show at once. has anyone else ever experienced this? or do you have any guesses why this might be happening? any help would be much appreciated. bradm
I know that access to archive.org can be spotty at times. If you're using Firefox as your browser, I've heard of an extension to it that will download the individual files you want, but I can't get at archive.org right now (as I said, access can be spotty ). Once I can get to it, I'll dig around and see what I can find. Aloha, Brad
AD
DownThemAll extension for FireFox is invaluable if you plan to download lots of files from html pages.Really good if you visit places like Archive or mp3 blogs etc....AD

bradm
Thanks, AD, I think that's the one of which I was thinking. You can get it athttp://downthemall.mozdev.org/but it's a Beta release, and I've heard it can be buggy.Aloha,Brad
carstairs
If you are using IE, you might want to try using a download manager that can resume interrupted downloads. Here's a free one: Free Download Manager
Esau
For archive, I always use FTP for downloading, its a heck of a lot faster and usually issue free.

It's been updated a few times as well, didn't know it was a Beta though.Oh well. Works perfectly as far as I can tell.AD

Grab a copy of cuteftp or wsftp and use that option. There are some instructions on the show page for each show.
