LSD25
Hey guys, I am thinking of heading down to see the show, however, I still have yet to buy a ticket, and as part of my boycott of Ticketmaster, I cant buy my ticket online from them. Any ideas how to get myself a ticket for what seems like a great show? also anyone have space for 1 person or possibly 2?
Freeker
Don't know about rides, but as for tickets my suggestion is buy them at the venue box office the day of the show. No Dead show this tour has sold out (to my knowledge) and ticket prices have been ten dollars cheaper at the box office then they are on TM (not including shipping or convienence fee, more like a 20 dollar savings) Or there's also the lot, tons of tix floating around for good prices or trades. Personally I'm waiting till I get there to buy my ticket.
backbacon
"Personally I'm waiting till I get there to buy my ticket." Me too. I can't imagine it selling out. However, It costs more to park, IIRC, if you don't have a ticket, so the savings over TM are not quite as much. Still a savings though.
skelter
i was pretty certain every show was sold out...
Hux
I know for a fact Saturday Camden was sold out, and Friday was damn close. Tough call on tix, this is the last show with Dylan, so it's gonna be a biggie! don't wait too long!
LSD25
Any ideas on what message boards there is a chance that I could pick up a ticket to Dylan and the Dead? or if anyone here has an extra ticket?
Hux
try: otherones.net ratdog.org philzone.com and at www.dead.net, go to "DNC = Dead net central", and if you can navigate your way to the Discussion Hotline 21 I think, there are venue folders where stuff often comes up... actually.....right here: Darien Lake Folder
LSD25
I am kinda confused... isnt there camping included in the ticket? or do we have to get some other place to camp at?
bouche
camping is ridiculously expensive at Darien Lake, and I think you need a 2 night minimum. http://smsworld.sftp.com/smsworld/campsiteinfo.htm
phishin4mango
there is a state park approximately 4-5 minutes away from the concert venue. it is reasonably priced and there are always lots of people from the concerts camping there. i am pretty sure it is called darien lake state park. it is your best bet!! How is that possible. I better get to rest my sleeping bag on a pasture made of plush moss with free-bud in a very nearby location.
bouche
Has anyone booked a site at the state park? I couldn't get through on the phone, and the online booking site had no availability. I don't trust online booking stuff.

Thought I had bought two GetAcess memberships, which includes four comp tix for $30 until I tried to enter my address. I guess it's only for Americans. MoMack
There is camping near Darien, and for some reason they've never asked us to pay. They've asked us to leave on a couple occasions, but we've never paid a dime. It seems to be free if you show up after midnight. Theres a good honky tonk bar on the way too (on the way if you get lost and drive in circles for an hour or two like we always do...)
