zero
Jaydawg just posted on Stillepost that Lovely Feathers are opening Guelph which I don't think they are. Don't want to get the twiggy indie boys all in a bunch.
bradm
http://theslip.com/calendar.php#13580says it's Kill The Lights, with no mention of other bands. KTL's tour dates list the Guelph show, too.http://www.thelovelyfeathers.com/shows/doesn't list a Guelph date.Aloha,Brad

Jay Funk Dawg
all very confusing.. on the Kill the Lights myspace page www.myspace.com/killthelightsband , the Toronto show is listed as openers for The Slip and Plants and Animals.something fishy is going on behind the scenes in the slip camp that I don't quite understand.-j
show---whore
no one can seam to give me a yes or no on it.if you look at every ones web site you would think that the lovely feathers are playing Montreal.so I've gone ahead and replaced them with What The Thunder Said for the second opening act.so for the Guelph line up it will be:The SlipWhat The Thunder SaidKill The Lightsthere will be new promo in Guelph Friday night. show---whore
they were the first thought in my mind when i decided to do the show in guelph. i remember being very impressed when i mixed there set at this passed CTMF (alway be nice to the sound guy he always has the hook up). it was the first time seeing them for me. But then the lovely feathers and kill lights came in a package deal for the tour witch was very good. i glad to have some local talent on the bill!! show---whore
i try to have local talent on every show i do. i think i've only done one show that didn't have local talent, that was BSS w/Stars two night in Hailfax, so there wasn't any room for a local opener. zero
So I guess that's clearish. I did put in a word with Brad that the promoters needed whatever help/support was offered (CD's, promo) from management.

zero
What length of set are we looking at here?13 minutes. Say one tune and KC Accidental. You do know that you HAVE to play KC right? And that the Slip are going to be listening when you do it. Right?
