Jay Funk Dawg
Incidentally late on Sunday Night/Monday Morning I was playing Sex Machine on guitar, teaching some family and friends how to play it... Maybe his spirit reached me at that time? I did a thesis on him in University for Music History Class, I will try to post it if I can still find it. He is a musical pioneer and huge influence on my own playing.<<>>>>

jayr
Terrible news. Of all things, my mother has tickets to see him for the first time, when he was to play soon in Orillia.Yeah, my girlfriend and her sister had tickets for the 6th at Rama for their Mom for Christmas wrapped and everything when we heard on Christmas day. Sucks. I'm glad I saw him a few years ago at Bonnaroo.
The Chameleon
Rest in pace godfather.I saw James 5 times. First time in 1996 at Lulu's in Kitchener. He was screaming so loud he was distorting the house speakers which were considerable. He was in his late 50's then. One of the wonders of the world.
