Please tell me that neither one of you is a statistician ... in the Great Baseball Card Checklist of Life, I've got them crossed off already. They're worse than lawyers.

Let's see ... what's left ...

"Mad scientist"--no, wait, got it

"Boy scout leader"--gah, no, forgot, I got it

Oh, wait, here we go ... is either one of you a zebra trainer?

I am too lazy to read them all right now.

Yep I play that one all the time.

Also many more, but that was just a few that me & my buddies always kick out.

I've noticed a couple of obvious 'campfire' tunes missing from the list... though there have been a bunch of great ones submitted.

Here's my 2 cents worth:

Up Against the Wall Redneck Mothers - Ray Wylie Hubbard (A must at any jamhead's campfire party!!)

Significance of the Pickle - Arlo Guthrie (though only a special campfire guitar player/storyteller can pull this one off!!!)

Tangled up in Blue - Bob Dylan

When I Paint My Masterpiece - Bob Dylan

Big River - Grateful Dead

Dire Wolf - GD

The Thrill is Gone - Garcia/Grisman

Embryonic Journey - Jorma Kaukonen/Jefferson Airplane (If any of the guitar players feel like showing off!!)

Pony Boy - Allman Brothers Band

Blue Sky - ABB

Melissa - ABB

Willin' - Widespread Panic

There's so many more... but these would definitely help get the party going, eh?

nothing else matters - metallica

wonderwall - oasis

my wild love - the doors (use the guitar as a drum)

patience - GnR

raven black night - gov't mule (HARD to play)

ride on - AC/DC

goodbye blue sky - pink floyd

mother - pink floyd

sweet home alabama - lynard skynard

wide wide world - cat stevens

I have a great version of that tune by Jerry Jeff Walker.

Cheers to your others also.

Maybe a kickin version of Volunteers-(J.A.P) also.

Yeah Esau... you gotta keep your ear to the ground for those diamonds in the rough, eh?

I've also got that live Jerry Jeff Walker version... it's a definite beaut.

A J.A. Volunteers would also be SWEET... especially if you had a few players going at 'er.

I'm digging your GD & Dylan choices too. That list could just go on & on, eh? You can never have too much Dead or Dylan at your fingertips when having a campfire jam!

Damn you Secondtube!!!

You've done something that hasn't been done to me for QUITE some time, that being... STUMPED ME!!! Most of my Little Feat collection got gripped along with almost ALL my CD's when my abode got busted into & robbed a few years back... and I can't seem to remember!!! BC weed y'know? So YOU tell ME if it's a cover or not... somethin' bout "weed, whites, & wine... if you show me a sign... I'll be Willin'".

So... WSP or Little Feat buddy?
