M.O.B.E
I was looking at the menu for Azteca and it looks pretty good. Anyone eaten there?? Hows the food and most importantly the service???
AdamH
The food is pretty good but is overpriced. Their guacamole, even if authentic, is boring. The service I remember being...fine.I can't think of another high-end mexican restaurant in that vicinity. Ahora is good and cheap but a different experience. meggo
i went to azteca once with my students. i would pretty much agree with Adam. our food wasn't awesome but they were serving us a fixed menu for about 20 people, so i would cut them a bit of slack. i prefer ahora
AD
agreed with the above two, minus the student talk.i prefer a lively guac

bouche
We did have a FANTASTIC lunch there. I think we split a plate of tortillas. The pork was tender and definitely marinated. That is where we learned that grilled pineapple goes amazing with mexican pork dishes.Tacos al PastorA staple on every Mexican street corner, and an Azteca exclusive in Ottawa. Marinated in ground chiles and spices, this special pork is slowly roasted on a donair. Served on five small corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, pineapple and a side of our house salsas...$10Suggested side dishes: lime wedges, avocado slices, rice, or beans. bagochips
Hey, if you want honest-to-God real Mexican food on the good and cheap side then check out Ahora on Dalhousie. It is excellent and the owners are real nice.
