Jaimoe
And she can kick Johnny Lang's Playstation- addicted ass. She kicks it around 1:24 in, but the song is worth listening to all the way through:
mattm
Nice, and she gets into it with the face and body too which I thought was great to see in front of a church choir like that.

Niplit
Speaking of women lead guitarists, did anyone catch Jokko playing at bluesfest. She could definitely rip it up with the best of em.
bradm
Speaking of women lead guitarists, did anyone catch Jokko playing at bluesfest. She could definitely rip it up with the best of em.Yeah, she impressed me. Actually, their performance that day was a lot better than the previous (only) time I saw them, back when they opened for The Souljazz Orchestra at Babylon back in September; back then, it seemed as if they had merged/fused/blended/pureed reggae, afro-beat, and world music to the point where it was an unidentifiable mush. At Blues Fest, they seemed to hit a bit harder and have more of an identity, and the guitar playing was a blast to watch and hear.Aloha,Brad

Jaimoe
Susan Tedeschi joined the Allmans at the Molson Amphitheatre for a rousing rendition of Stormy Monday five years ago or so. I think her lead solo was the best of the three, which included solos by her husband and Warren Haynes.
