Anyway, at the risk of committing foodeeze forum sacreliege, I wanted to plug this packaged borsht that I just tried. Just add 3/4L of water, pepper, and whatever veg you want (for partisans of the Ukrainian variety), and boil for 15 minutes. It's actually REALLY good, and 3 servings for $1.50 makes a tasty quick meal with some good rye bread. Winiary Barszcz czerwony zupy.
