Basher
I was going to say, if it is possible for a coach to be pissed in a HUGE win, this would be it. The defensive rebounding and defense in the paint was brutal tonight. Thankfully the Raps could not miss from beyond the arc.
Jaimoe
Defensive criticism aside, the Raps looked great in the Celtics zone all night. Jose was fantastic.

Basher
BIG home-and-home series tonight and tomorrow with the Wiz, who are currently a half game behind the Raps in the East. A split is perfectly acceptable, but a Raps sweep would be divine. I'll be at the game tomorrow night.

Basher
Raptors got the outcome they deserved last night. Lately as AP goes the team goes, and aside from that miracle heave he had a bad game last night. The inability to control the defensive glass is a serious issue, and I would be shocked if Colangelo does not do something to address that need.Considering Bosh is a PF, the Raptors have been playing this season with ZERO contribution from the center position.Get 'er done BC. Booche
They should bring in Mighty Mouse as a center.
Basher
MIghty Mouse is headed to the Spurs, according to reports.I think Kurt Thomas would be a good fit for this team, and certainly any aging piece of Seattle has to be open for the taking. badams
At this point the Raptors are looking at a first round playoff exit. However, they still have some time to get it together.

Jaimoe
It's a minor deal at best. It give the Raps 6 more fouls and another big body. It ain't no Cleveland deal.
Whitey
Bye, bye Juan. Nothing like a marginal player complaining about playing time. I like how Colangelo stated that he wanted players in Toronto who wanted to be here.
Hal Johnson
Heres what ESPN says about the trade:"The Euraptors were crestfallen when they acquired Dixon at the deadline last season and found out he was American. Exchanging him for Brezec fixes that nagging problem. Also, Brezec is huge, and Toronto is desperate for size at the moment. But he's been horrid in his limited appearances the past two seasons. Personally, I'd rather have the guy who can play a little. "
The Chameleon
So what's the deal? Is TJ Ford scheduled to play anytime soon?Sam Mitchell keep saying nothing and doing his usual media shrug.I have a nasty feeling he may hang it up given how serious his back/spine injury was and that doctors say if he gets hit like that again he might not walk again...yikes.... Jaimoe
You can blame Bosh being out you want, but this patheticly disfunctional defensive team looks like they've tuned-out Sam Mitchell. You know what happens when this occurs.
afro poppa
A game against the Heat is a good cure for a losing streak. The Raps will be fine. I don't know how people can expect them to win against the West when they are missing their All-Star PF.
Jaimoe
They are 2-8 in the past 10 games and have lost 5 in a row. I expected batter from them, Bosh or not. Ford's play is troubling. It seems when he came back, the team went in the tank. What the fuck is going on? Beating the Heat? Who cares? If they keep this play going, they may not even make the playoffs. Check the standings. I'm not wrong.
badams
I don't think making the playoffs is an issue. The schedule for the Raptors gets easier. However if they don't gel in the games remaining it is likely a first round exit again.
