bagochips
Elfs are way better than gnomes. My place is infested with gnomes. The little fuckers are quiet as mice all day, but as soon as I go to bed they trash my place, drink all my beer and amuse themselves kicking me in the head while I sleep with their tiny little feet. I wake up every morning feeling like I have a hangover.

Ol'Hickster
There is alot more to buying a house than I thought there would be, but it is a good experience I have found so far but alot of shit is involve expecially since I dont live in the province that the house resides in, but still a work in progress! heres a picture of my home away from home Its the Yellow one bottom left side of the picture Edited December 14, 2007 by Guest
jonyak
Ya once I started the process I was shocked by what I had to do...I had no idea there were so many hoops to jump through its incredible. and the expenses just aroudn buying it... make sure you have like 10 grand extra set aside jut in case. rabidmonkey
I find the mortgage arrangements the biggest hassle in buying a home. A CRA tax audit requires less paperwork. That said I just bought a new home and I'm a little worried as I still have my old home to sell. Anyone want a nice place in Ottawa? I'll give you a deal... boiler
I love my new house, next time though, even deeper into the country, I want no neighbors eventually.
Ol'Hickster
Deep enough in the country to have a little hidden concert in the woods, That sounds like a good idea
headymamamyrna
So where is this yellow house? It looks like a small fishing village in NB.
boiler
I almost bought a place with 25 acres, of bush, no neighbors and the house totally off the grid. Ultimatley the off the grid thing and the seclusion of the place got a bit scary.

jonyak
The place I bought has 3 acres and one neibhor like 200 ft away... its gonna rock. and apparently he is a drummer/trucker who is never home, I cannot wait. Move in on Jan 28th. Lets hope it isn't snowing then.I'm gonna need to buy a lawn tractor to cut all the lawn I have.I've never owned a house so the whole thing is kinda scareing me.
