Hal Johnson
Which sport do you think would be easiest to just pick up and excel at, so over the course of say, ten years, you would be at a world class level?

dave-O
Curling is totally the correct answer. If you dropped everything today and dedicated every waking hour to curling, I bet you'd have a shot at say, making the olympics (probably not for Canada though) in 10 years. Why not? bradm
Is darts considered a sport?Aloha,Brad
Hal Johnson
Darts and Bowling - great ideas!! I was thinking Bowling, just so you could end up on TSN - darts too for that matter.Curling was my first thought too, but then I figured your dependant on your teammates. If your teammates suck, you'll just be bogged down. Then you've got the whole the band is breaking up-but secretly getting back together thing going on. bradm
Darts also has an advantage: most homes (especially those with a basement) can accommodate a dart board and the necessary floor space, so you can practise at home.Aloha,Brad
Hal Johnson
This is true, its easily the most accessible and cost effective. Except, I guess, for tourneys, cuz well, they're usually held in Pubs.
Jaimoe
My friend is in a few dart leagues and is an excllent player - he plays 6 times a week - but he ain't never going to be or beat Darth Maple. Pick another sport. How about dressage, trap-shooting or the middle rider on a box-sled? What about being a fat coxen? Better yet, try emmigrating to Jamaica and trying out for luge.
