boiler
I was on the website and I noticed no outside food or drink. I don't really like to camp without my own food and beer.
boiler
Sorry, I stand corrected, you can bring food and drink to the campsite.

can-o-phish
Irie Guy - I'm with you. I enjoy JJ too.Hey, I've been a solid supporter of JJ since Brushfire FT. This is a guy who is an amazing surfer, invited to Pipeline when he was 17, makes great surf flicks with the Malloys, putting on standout festivals for environmental awareness, scoring music for films and in his spare time built two amazing recording studios where he records music for his friends and himself...not a bad lifestyle at all... AD
i notice you didn't say anything about the songs that he sings. i wouldn't go see a concert by anyone for the reasons you posted that you like the guy, admirable as they are.
NewRider
He should have stuck to surfing.
Hal Johnson
I like his songs. They're catchy. Plus, i think everyone that hates him is a guy who wishes he had the ability to write songs that women all over over would drop their pants for. Jealousy can be a real bitch. AD
you said you liked a big list of things johnson does, but you left out his songs. just thought it was a curious thing to omit, since the topic was a concert.
NewRider
If there is one thing I really don't like about Jack Johnson it's his songs! Yeah, his concerts suck. His songs all sound the same though. It drives me up the fucking wall.

can-o-phish
This song is about as "angry" as Jack gets , but the lyrics say it all... Crying Shame Its such a tired game Will it ever stop How will this all play out Upside out of my mouth By now we should know How to communicate instead of coming to blows We're on a roll And there ain't no stopping us now We're burning under control Isn't it strange how We're all burning under the same sun By now we say its a war for peace Its the same old game But do we really want to play? We could close our eyes its still there We could say its us against them We can try but nobody wins Gravity has got a hold on us all We try to put it out But its a growing flame Using fear as fuel Burning down our name And it wont take too long Cause words are burning same And who we gonna blame now? And oh, Its such a crying shame By now Its starting to show A number of people are numbers who aint coming home I can close my eyes its still there Close my mind be alone Close my heart and not care But gravity has got a hold on us all Its a terrific price to pay But in the true sense of the word Are we using what we've learned? In the true sense of the word Are we losing what we were? Its such a tired game Will it ever stop? Is not for me to say And is it in our blood? Or is it just our fate? And how will this all play out Upside out of my mouth And who we gonna blame? On and on Its such a crying shame

Jaimoe
if you like Jack Johnson (or even if you don't), you're going to like Jon and RoyI'm prepping a review of Jon and Roy's new album, produced by Stephen Franke. My biggest beef with them is their over-use of bongos, altough ANY use of bongos is too much for me.
bokonon
Phishtaper and Jaimoe: HIPPIE FIGHT! Why don't you two knock each other over with big bricks of organic tofu? It's shit like this that makes the entire hippie subculture look completely ridiculous and thus people of the mainstream tend to discredit all parts of it, even those parts with validity. Please, stop embarassing (I have no idea how to spell that) yourselves and your compatriots. Max Webster: I like your attitude!
