bONES
Tuesday nights show in Burlington must have been a treat... Mike Gordon Celebrates With Dark Star OrchestraShortly after midnight, Mike Gordon began his birthday on stage in Burlington, Vermont. Gordon, who is celebrating his 43rd birthday today (June 3), was at Higher Ground in Burlington taking in a Dark Star Orchestra show. During DSO’s encore, Kevin Rosen handed over his bass and Gordon dug in for the version of “U.S. Blues†that closed out the show. Mike Gordon, Rob Eaton Jr. Join DSOIt was a birthday twin-bill for Mike Gordon. Early in the morning of June 3 (his 43rd birthday) he sat in with Dark Star Orchestra at Burlington, VT's Higher Ground. Then as evening rolled around, he stepped up once more, appearing during the second set for "Space" which drifted into "The Other One." The show featured an additional guest as well, with Rob Eaton Jr. appearing on guitar alongside his father Rob Eaton (DSO's Bob Weir) on a version of "Easy Wind." Dark Star Orchestra is off tonight and then will appear on Thursday at Englewood, NJ's Bergen Performing Arts Center. 06/04/77The Fabulous Forum - Inglewood, CASet 1:Promised LandTennessee JedEl PasoPeggy-OJack StrawFriend Of The DevilLazy Lightnin'SupplicationCandymanNew Minglewood BluesBrown-Eyed WomenThe Music Never StoppedSet 2:Samson And DelilahShip Of FoolsEstimated ProphetEyes Of The WorldDrumsGood Lovin'Terrapin StationPlayin' In The BandFranklin's TowerChina DollNot Fade AwayPlayin' In The BandEncore:One More Saturday NightFiller- US blues with Mike Gordon on bass jambands.com
