bouche
Could Ringo have sung anymore? I can't stand Liverpool 8. That tune is laughable. Ringo has nearly completed his metamorphosis into a clown. Mind you, he looks most like a Palestinian leader. Curious, how many times did Ringo flash the peace symbol? Velvet
And I suppose you've listened to all his solo stuff, have you Mike?
Jaimoe
Ringo had a successful early solo career. He had at least two big albums too, Ringo and Goodnight Vienna. He's not a big writer, true, but he's done alright for himself on his own.

bouche
And I suppose you've listened to all his solo stuff, have you Mike?I most of his albums (originals) up to a point.Sentimental JourneyRingo (probably my favourite)Stop and Smell the Roses Ok, "It don't come easy" is a pretty damn fine tune along with "photograph" (thanks to george) and his cover of "You're Sixteen" I do hold some pleasantness towards "Stop And Take The Time To Smell The Roses". There was a good amount of writing credits from george and ringo up to this point which is probably why I like these albums.when I get my LP player setup, I'll invite you over for an after-Beatles listening party. Rob Not Bob
Sentimental Journey is not the Ringo album to get ... try Beaucoups of Blues, his voice lends itself quite well to country. Edited June 21, 2008 by Guest
