Jaimoe
I believe The Kills are playing on the 4th. I'd totally check them out.
kc
I will def check out the Kills, I guess they are missing from the line-up that I copy and pasted this one from. Seems there are a few bands missing. Love the Kills.
Jaimoe
That new MGMT single, "Electric Feel", has one of the catchiest bass hooks I've heard in quite some time. I've heard that they have trouble staying in key vocally a la Anthony Kiedis.
kc
Hope to not miss that song but they are up against The Black Keys and Gogol Bordello.

SaggyBalls
ever see the killers?I heard they were a great live act.
Thorgnor
Call me crazy but the British invasion of new songstresses continues with Duffy, inna style like old motown on the Winehouse/Adele etc. Probably not worth missing something else for though. Big Wooly Mammoth
I want to go just to see the Stooges. But, I can't justify the cost at this time. If I hadn't seen them in Boston last year, I would definitely be going. And my kids would also like to see them. When your 5 and 10 year old kids request the Stooges while youre driving, I tell ya, it make a dad proud! (I've got a great live recording from a performance in France that was broadcast on the radio. "Nous sommes les fucking stooges!")
Northern Wish
Weakerthans, Tom Fun Orchestra, maybe Duffy. Her cd is pretty good if you like that kind of soul songwriting.....
dimafleck: the living legend.
i saw them at the Mod Club, and unlike the album (which i loved), the show was completley flat.the band just can't make the songs work for them for them on stage.
