Cosmic ChrisC
So I have tons of pineapple sage growing in my garden and am wondering if I should use it for anything. Knowing me, I'll probably just leave it there to die at the first frost. Have any of you ever used that herb for anything?Supposedly it grows nice red flowers in the late fall...so maybe I'll just wait to enjoy that. bouche
I think anything sage is from the salvia family. I think the salvia you're referring to is called "Diviner’s Sage" Try it.

Thorgnor
Pineapple sage with actual pineapple on a ham would be lovely. Or pineapple sage, and honey on a clove studded ham...ham is good.
bouche
mmmm...HAM! We had a wicked ham last year that gave us a weeks worth of tasty meals and sandwiches. Must do again. (it actually came from Costco. Kirland Signature ham)
