YearsAlongTheSea
I'm off to Peterborough to do my first round of training for a carpentry apprenticeship I'm doing. So, I haven't spent too much time in ol' electric city and would love a little advice as to where I could see some tunes any odd night, grab a good cup of coffee and a decent bite to eat. Any help is much appreciated...
bradm
The main music venue I've heard of is The Montreal House; JSB is playing there this week, and James McKenty And The Spades (who used to play there regularly) are there on Feb. 14.Aloha,Brad
Hal Johnson
When my friends went to Trent we'd go to the Montreal House for Kereoke. At the time they had $1 drafts. The main live music venue we'd go to was the Red Dog (I think?)...but this is all dating back almost ten yrs. Not sure what's there anymore. bradm
The main live music venue we'd go to was the Red Dog (I think?)That'd be The Legendary Red Dog Tavern, and while it's currently closed for renovations, it's slated to re-open in March, 2009.Aloha,Brad
The D Funk
I live in Peterborough temporarily, grew up here so I know my way around. Like any town its has its good and bad. A few good bars are The Red dog closed till March, The Montreal House and the Spill are some of the good locations for live music. Also The pigs ear is a legendary bar jammed almost everynite of the week. If you have any questions or anything hit me up on here!!
