Freeker
Looking good Beacon!I was only ever in it once but hell I'll never forget it. From accidentally blowing pot smoke in the face of the usher to the insane upstairs fire escape exit to the 20 different people that sat in with the Mule that night. All those things plus the staggering jaw dropping beauty of the interior will always give it a special place in my heart Edited February 12, 2009 by Guest

Hartamophone
Clapton will be sitting in 3/19 and 20. Wish I could make it from Victoria for those two nights.

deranger
it's a truly beautiful theatre even before the restorations. The first and second floors were always a bit nicer and more well maintained then the upper balcony (3rd floor). I'll be heading back for my 5th Beacon run next month, only got 1 show though (thank you ticketbastard) and for the lodge (lower balcony). Best thing about the Beacon, other than great sound and sight lines - absolutely no smoking pot or cigs on the orchestra level or lower balcony, but totally fine on the upper balcony.
