Kanada Kev
I listen to Dub Side of the Moon more often than the real thing! I like Radiodread better than most of the Radiohead versions too This next one should be a wild one. I'm just trying to imagine these tracks Easy Star style: "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" – 2:02 "With a Little Help from My Friends" – 2:44 "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" – 3:28 "Getting Better" – 2:47 "Fixing a Hole" – 2:36 "She's Leaving Home" – 3:35 "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" – 2:37 "Within You Without You" (George Harrison) – 5:05 "When I'm Sixty-Four" – 2:37 "Lovely Rita" – 2:42 "Good Morning Good Morning" – 2:41 "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" – 1:18 "A Day in the Life" – 5:
Kanada Kev
If anyone's interested in a preview to the April 16 release date: Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/100612/Easy%20Star%27s%20Lonely%20Hearts%20Dub%20Band.zip http://musicfeeds.com.au/music/easy-star-all-stars/
Irie Guy
I preordered it. I figure I owed it to them to cough up something because my Dub Side in my iTunes which I love came from a friend. Plus I'm getting a snazzy Ringer T to boot. balogna pogna
I thought it was ok on the first listen...maybe I wish it was more reggae than dub (if that makes any sense).Cool idea for an album though.
balogna pogna
Or maybe Sgt Pepper's is too good to mess with......
Kanada Kev
After quite a few listens I gotta say that this effort is different from the past two. There are times that I really like it and others where I'm not so sure. I dug it today out in the sunshine doing some yard work I want to see them LIVE again! fluffhead77
Doesn't work nearly as sweetly as the previous two albums. 6/10. my 2 cents.
