bouche
They aren't breaking the partnership. They're going on a tour and releasing music. We just probably won't see a weekly HBO show anymore. They were just hitting on the most wonderful formula with Murray that I'd love to see it continue. flipzoso
I thought a while back I read that they were signed to two MORE seasons (after s1). I may be wrong.I thought S2 was sooo hilarious, much much much better than S1 and stood up well against alot of other comedies.

AD
The future of their TV series is just as open-ended. A few weeks back, an HBO executive told reporters he expected the show to return in late 2010 or early 2011, although the Conchords won't even commit to that imprecise time frame. When asked whether there'll be a third season, Clement simply responds: "I don't know," going on to explain the decision will come down to him, McKenzie and co-creator James Bobin.
