TheSloth
Ho ho ho, another crazy day of football. Big surprises in a couple of games. The North London derby is looming large with quite a bit of meaning this time around Ollie.

mister slippery
It's funny when it happens to others. I'd have been absolutely livid had it happened against Chelsea, but against Liverpool it's pretty funny.
TheSloth
Christ, Arsenal let's one in at the 90 minute mark. Aaaah well.
M.O.B.E
I'm completley embarassed by the game I just watched...I worked happily all evening thinking I could come home to smoke a fattie and watch Rangers thoroughly destroy at least someone in the Champions League and then it just got worse and worse...2 own goals and a saved penalty...Im glad they were boo offed the park at the end too. And this all comes on the heels of this talk of the Old Firm joining the EPL or some other Atlantic/Euro league...yeah right.

mister slippery
Now, I'm no ManUtd fan, but hey, he's England too. Congrats to one Wayne Rooney, whose wife Colleen delivered a baby boy. Unlikely to play vs CSKA tomorrow, like it matters. That's all yer getting from me till South Africa, Wayne, don't get used to it.

mister slippery
extra game on TV today, for those interested. Barca V Rubin Kazan at 12:30 then Arse V Alkmaar at 2:30 Ontario region, possibly others as well, but im not in the other regions. ps, can't believe the way CFC blew the lead, but glad they're through to the next round. And, United V CSKA was a legendarily fun match, with no allegiance riding on the result. Edited November 4, 2009 by Guest
Davey Boy 2.0
first half of Real-AC Milan was high tempo, exciting stuff, didn't catch much of the 2nd
Davey Boy 2.0
Ronaldinho can't beat anyone anymore, btw. Good movement, good passing and all but he's definitely past it. Wonder where he'll end up next?Rangers?!?!? More likely MLS or he'll pull an Adriano and go back to Brazil
mister slippery
OK, clearly APOEL isn't the new Cluj. Maybe, however, FC Rubin Kazan is. At least I know what I'm talking about, even if nobody else does.
M.O.B.E
Ronaldinho can't beat anyone anymore, btw. Good movement, good passing and all but he's definitely past it. Wonder where he'll end up next?Rangers?!?!? More likely MLS or he'll pull an Adriano and go back to BrazilRangers cant even afford the few shitty players they have. The whole team has been up for sale since last year, that is partly because they are shite!!! Would be nice though, would also be nice if we still had Gattuso. mister slippery
A win's a win. Facking Evans, though, how he didnt get a card for that eludes me. Oh well, Drogba gets a boot to the chest and it's funny? Fair enough, I found "beachballgate" funny and others probably didnt. But, we're top of the table, and that's what matters. Best of luck, also-rans.
Booche
"Drogba gets a boot to the chest and it's funny? "It was fuckinghilarious. Obviously he wasnt nearly as hurt as he had led on. Keep on yellow-carding the prick, I say.
mister slippery
long as he keeps scoring, we'll stay top.Worth a couple cards, i figure.Seriously though, what was his card for? I assumed he said something to the ref, but anyone know for real? was it called a dive, when Evans went studs-to-chest on him?
