DevO
Anyone have any recommended spots for good wings in Centretown, or near U of Ottawa? (I tried searching 'wings' on Ottawa Foodies but didn't find what I was looking for)Thanks!
AD
Just south of Centretown at Bank and the Queensway is the Clocktower - while the rest of their food is average at best, their wings are pretty good. Cheap on Tuesdays as well.

Northern Wish
Second on St Louis, though these are not buffalo wings......and they are a bit pricey! And a fourth vote for Clocktower. The dusty cajun and sweet thai are amazing!
DevO
Bad incident that I won't reveal since everyone hear loves the clocktower. That's ok, Clocktower doesn't count because it's not in Centretown or near U of Ottawa!!! I ended up having some dingers at Hooley's, at Elgin and Maclaren. Priced at $11, but Wednesday nights the whole menu is 1/2 price so $5.50... Got a pound of heavily battered wing dings, medium. Comes with sour cream, blue cheese will cost you an unsightly $2 extra. All in all, the dingers were pretty good but not worth $11 IMO. I think Monday night is their wing night with cheaper wings.

ollie
Isn't the Clocktower like a 5 minute walk from Hooley's? If you bike/walk along the canal from OttawaU it's a really scenic route too!

AD
Why would you even step in the door of Hooleys? And the Clocktower is a 2 minute walk from Centretown. You go under a bridge. Presto.
