Booche Posted April 1, 2010 Report Share Posted April 1, 2010 Furthur’s rhythm guitarist and one of its founding members, Bob Weir, has decided to resign from the band. His last show was on March 12th in San Francisco. Furthur is supportive of Bob’s choice and we wish him the very best. Weir said in a statement that he wants to spend time working with Little Kids Rock, his new joint venture with his sister, a childrens' book author. Big things are coming from him folks. Soon. Replacing Bob will be Rob Eaton, most recently of Dark Star Orchestra. Furthur will continue to bring you this music at its highest level. A few in the circle are actually saying “higher†since we have already begun working with Rob. Expect songs from the DSO library to make their appearance later this year. Suckmydick New Rider.
