MoMack
Musically the band is awesome. There were more spots last night where you think "why is [insert phil or bobby here] singing?" as compared to Herkimer.Basically I'm complaining about the Help Slip Frank. The Slipknot! is so tight with these guys. But Phil, my friend....

Kanada Kev
from what i caught of the first set it seemed fairly middle of the road. Mellower sun shining kinda set. Second set was fantastic! Loved the EYES with the keyboard solo that was really incredible. Hope they keep this up for those catching them at JazzFest. We all know that ArtPark is gonna be THE show of tour Can't wait now
Northern Wish
Some rough transitions early on that felt forced (Celebration > Samson for sure) and yes John should sing much more. Keep Phil slappin da bass and turn off his mic.All that said- it was an extremely enjoyable night of music. Wi Fi and big monitors make for great backyard parties!St Stephen > Jack Straw was my highlight FWIW.
ersh
Man... Bob Weir is lookin like a cartoon canine hobo sidekick these days. Someone should buy him a moustache trimmer.

boiler
I didn't really love the tone of John's guitar in the first set. It just didn't seem to command the songs. I thought he sounded way better in the second set. What do you think Bobby has in the fanny pack? Edited July 5, 2010 by Guest
Northern Wish
No hot pink guitar will ever command a song.Weir'd.
