Booche
There is alot of wow in that lineup! Buffalo Springfield reunion? Amazing. That also reminded me of Wilco's killer cover of Broken Arrow at the NAC last March. You know what else caught my eye? Jackson Browne and David LindleyIs this another reunion? Velvet, Vegas will always be there. You could just hit it after this weekend. You'll be in that neck of the woods........kinda.

DevO
You know what else caught my eye? Jackson Browne and David LindleyIs this another reunion? They released a live album in May and are touring together:http://www.jacksonbrowne.com/tourI think TimmyB said he was going to one of these shows. I saw David Lindley at Ottawa Bluesfest 5ish years ago and thought he was one great slide player.. But don't know much else about him and nothing about Jackson Browne (or their collaboration). Any album recommendations?

Velvet
Merle Haggard cancels shows due to illnessLast Updated: Thursday, September 16, 2010 | 1:37 PM ET Comments2Recommend3CBC News Merle Haggard is seen performing during the Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn., on June 14. He is cancelling tour dates this fall because of a chest infection. (Dave Martin/Associated Press) Merle Haggard, the rough-and-tumble country star whose career stretches back to the 1960s, has cancelled all his September concerts because of illness. His publicist Tresa Redburn said he is suffering from a chest infection, but it is unrelated to the lung cancer he was treated for two years ago.Haggard, 73, cancelled a string of shows earlier in the month, reportedly because of pneumonia. He had been touring in support of his latest album, I Am What I Am, which achieved his strongest following in two decades when it was released earlier this year.Haggard, who had several brushes with the law before becoming a country star, is known for his innovative songwriting and working man's point of view. The singer-songwriter is credited with influencing a generation of country musicians. He is scheduled to get the Kennedy Center Honours later in December in recognition of his long career. His publicist did not say when he would return to touring.Read more: http://www.cbc.ca/arts/music/story/2010/09/16/merle-haggard-illness.html#ixzz0zif1hbwW

localcrew
Too bad about Merle but there's still an outstanding group of musicians-I would be psyched to see what Neko Case and T-Bone would do together on it's own!
