phishtaper
Maybe someone needs to do some reengineering of LEDs to figure out how to make them lighter.....more sad news. my thoughts go out to those hurt. in the case of radiohead, it wasn't the lights themselves that were too heavy, it was the several large, complex housings from which they hung, spun and swung. the real problem is the use of structurally weak, temporary, outdoor stages, i think. bouche
It seems to take about a year for these investigations to conclude. $500,000 doesn't seem like much. Are there any lawsuits?Since Bluesfest was found not to be responsible for the collapse (the weather!) a year ago (1 year after the collapse here), I was surprised to see this lawsuit filed by Cheaptrick. Northern Wish
They will just add a $1 Lawsuit Convenience Charge to all of our tickets to pay it all down.

Are there any lawsuits? It's $500,000 per charge, so with 8 charges against Live Nation, that's $4M in fines. That starts hurting the wallet a bit. Even for a corporation.
