Esau
I find signed vinyl cool period,I collect vinyl. I do not find it cool that Chapman owned it. He's the one person I truly hate.
Vermontdave
There's a photo out there somewhere, of Lennon days before he was killed, with Chapman in the background. Any signed album by Lennon is priceless. Except that one. Peace
bouche
It's very spooky to have all these pieces of such a tragic moment in history.

Guest Low Roller
This could turn into a real interesting debate: karmic value vs. historic value. First of let's agree that John Lennon, an iconic figure of rock, signing this record for a fan who will turn out to be his killer a mere FIVE HOURS later, one Mark David Chapman, is pretty creepy. Add to that the fact that besides the autograph, there exists a SECOND instance of that exact same moment in the photograph, freaks me right the fuck out. Due to the circumstances, who Lennon was, and what he represented, I would consider these two pieces historic. Similarly, due to the circumstances, who Lennon was, and what he represented, I get bad vibes from the autographed record and the fortelling picture. I guess all I'm saying is that I'm happy that, at the very least, it's not hanging on display at a Hard Rock Café somewhere.
