1979
Contact + Jimmy swift - Another great show! good sound too! (If I were to put on a show on the DL - I'd go Addison+Swift then Nero+Blue Quarter ALL stitched - Substances cannot handle brakes) That would be something and a half ANY THOUGHTS!!! Del
Was that show last night seamless? I heard Craig said he'd never do another one again. As for nero/Blue Quarter seamless, I saw it happen in Ottawa last year. Not really all that good. I don't see it happening again. I'm kind of off the whole seamless idea as well. Unless it's seamlessly fading in and out of setbreaks, like tND are famous for. nero did that as well at a show in Ottawa, playing out of the DJ's sets. Or like the Slip have done, playing out of a drum circle.
paisley
no it wasn't seamless (I liked that for the original JSB/Bus but not much since), really good show for a smallish intimate crowd at pepperjacks JSB is sounding great, I'm off again tonight to go catch some more
SaggyBalls
i think that too many bands do seamless sets poorly or don't actually think about the ordeal as much or as intently as they should. I had a great time when I did a seamless sets show with the golden caramels (anyone remember gosium??) but i don't have a copy to listen to if i'm going to be picky. when 2 bands can play as one instead of 2 bands playing together then you have a truly seamless set show...until then it's seem-less.
