It falls a little short when the obvious comparisons to Bonnaroo are made, but I personally think the site and weather help to close that gap significantly. It's not the lineup I was hoping would coax me back there, but there are some hidden gems in there that could make the trip worthwhile.Official Site Edited March 16, 2009 by Guest

edger
Actually I think that's a pretty great line-up too! Better than I was expecting given all of their complications and delays. Decisions, decisions...Anyone have any ideas on when they would release a schedule for the fest?

For this next generation of the rock and roll music festival, ROTHBURY stands as a huge party with a purpose. Hosted at the one-of-a-kind Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan, the four day, environmentally sustainable music and camping festival is an inspiring cultural assembly; one where music fans, artists and progressive thinkers gather to celebrate much more than music. It is ROTHBURY's goal to harness the unique energy of the live music community into a durable social movement toward an important cause: Climate Change and Clean Energy Alternatives. In addition to a diverse and stellar musical lineup, ROTHBURY hosts a Think Tank and Epicenter Fair exploring this important cause. In its 2008 inaugural year, ROTHBURY was recognized by national media outlets including New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, USA Today, and many others as the leader in the evolving art of making large scale events sustainable. www.rothburyfestival.com
