edger
Well...I know I've had very few experiences over the last few years to compare to, and at a very reflective transitional stage of my life but I thought this was a fabulous show. It could have been something I ate but the band tore my brain apart, helped me unpack a few things and shake it all out in equilibrium. Such a treat to be back in the pit in the thick of it all. Also a real treat to run into so many freaky friendly faces that I hadn't seen in so long. Including a bunch of you Ottawa folk. It's reassuring knowing you're all still out there lighting up the world with your unique brands of vibrancy. I am grateful to have survived. The circusbus ride in was by far the most reckless, crazy ordeal I've ever been a part of. I honestly don't know how we didnt make the news. Driver had a death wish....and some serious cosmic skill and luck I'll give him that. Grateful for the divine forces that somehow managed to hold it altogether to avoid mass carnage....an experience to be sure but I think that's the last time I ride that particular train. Getting too old for dice lol. Blessed be the phish. I found myself thinking during second set....with the current state of the world and all the layers of traps and suffering and vacuous exchanges out there, out of ALL places I get to be here right now. Lucky duckies.
phorbesie
Love your positive vibes as always! I too thought the show was fantastic. Less introspective for me perhaps, more beerspective 🙃 I enjoyed every minute of it!
secondtube
Hey friends. Remembered my password! Wife and I had a great time at the show. Great seeing Kev'O prior to the show in Liberty Village. Can't believe he recognized me. Must be the Tiger-Cats hat each of us were wearing. We also were fortunate to see some old Hamilton friends pre-show. Kenny Candles, Julie from Shady Grove and her friend Scott. KC is still styling as ever! Once we got to our seats, looking around I see our old friend Tim sitting two rows behind us. It was a wonderful family reunion. We were in the low 300's so didn't get the fun on the floor, but had a great crew of newbies and old timers around us. Nothing but great vibes all around. Hope you crazy cats are keeping well! Notes: - Down with Disease was unfinished - Toronto is a tough place to record, the crowd has no idea who tapers are and why we are flying microphones above their heads, so there’s some clapping under the mics between tunes - Thanks to Greg M from Rochester for the clamp space.
