  3. From LiveNation FOR RELEASE: MONDAY, JULY 28, 2008 @ 7AM BRYAN ADAMS Thursday, September 4th and Friday, September 5th, 2008 the Carlu (444 Yonge Street) Doors: 7:00PM Show: 8:00PM Bryan Adams will bring his highly successful solo-acoustic show to Toronto this fall! The intimate concert will take place September 4th and 5th at The Carlu (444 Yonge Street). Adams has interspersed these special sold-out performances in between stadium dates in Europe and the U.S. with Vancouver previously being the only Canadian city to preview this new spin on his classic hits. The singer/songwriter has been touring the world in support of his new album 11, and is currently on tour south of the border. As Canada's best known ambassador, Bryan Adams has spent the last three decades making music history. He has sold over 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved #1 status in over 40 countries around the world. With hits like, "Cuts Like A Knife", "Summer of '69", "Kids Wanna Rock", "Can't Stop This Thing We've Started", "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", "Open Road" and most recently "Thought I'd Seen Everything", Adams status as one of the great songwriter's of our time, has been solidified. He has been awarded the Order of Canada and in 2006, was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards in Halifax. He has been nominated for Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Grammy's and last year his handprint was added to the Wembley Square of Fame in celebration of his 25th show at the famed stadium. Bryan's outstanding live concerts have established him as one of the world's best rock singers, performing over 120 concerts a year. The two shows at The Carlu provide a rare opportunity for fans to see Adams as they've not seen him before.

  10. I liked how ben got the audience performing. He clearly had coached them before the song which was excluded from the broadcast, but it was really awesome. We were clapping in our living room.

  13. that's basically grilled sugar It was unbelievably tasty. I would love to share this meal sometime with fellow meat lovers maybe our next meal date with you and velvet ? btw, that coconut drinky thing with the green worms was pretty unique. the worms had a texture unlike anything I can describe. once they're in your mouth the just sort of melt in a silky stream through your teeth. I think they grew will in the drink. After a while, they did seem more filling.
  14. The Larry Sanders Show is a good call. I love that show. I need to rewatch the entire thing. Hank Kingsley has to be one of the greatest television characters ever created.
  15. Give it to me. he'd open it with one bite.
  16. The results are in at http://www.foodeeze.com
  17. i don't know how to react to those images. Was it a Roman era production about bon jovi>>>? Was basher awake at this point?
  18. as far as I've read, it won't affect shit. eventually though, your looking at needing a new receiver if you want both providers. That part screws me up because I figure that if they are going to hook up, you should not have to worry about a different system. It's all the same technology. I think the key is that prices are fixed for 6 years or something. That's great for now, but after 6 years, are there going to be any rules on prices and offerings? For the time being, all is good.
  19. You were living on a prayer that night. There must have been some sort of highlight though. Anything?
  20. I hereby request a list of other concerts that Basher was forced to attend like the Cult confession.
  21. Check out ACL tonight if it's airing for you. We just watched a wicked Ben Folds performance and a new favourite, Ray Lamontagne. Killer shit. I never heard of Ray Lamontagne before. He's got gorgeous songs, and on top of that, his voice is incredible.
