That's an exciting story. It's hilarious watching him on SCTV clips because when I was little, he seemed so old. Yet, he was really quite young. And when I look at those clips now, he STILL seems old to me, yet he's probably about 7 years younger than me or so in them. I would have asked him what it was like to be in ghostbusters.

Lists are popular for sure. Top 10 lists are everywhere. They are fun, but only when there is context for every entry (check out some of Cracked.com's lists). I see a site trying to be a Web 2.0 social site but it could very well turn into fanboy biased lists. I'm surprised the site doesn't force you to sign up in order to vote. I'm sure some script kiddies will take advantage of that hole. I like sites where a community can create stuff and have others in the community participate. That's the point of the social sites. But isn't there something like this on facebook already? Facebook is the internet now for alot of people

The only wars that exists that you should worry about are between RIAA and ISP's against BitTorrent. Also RIAA against DRM, RIAA against consumers, ISP's against consumers, and Bush vs. Humans.

Never depend on a tiny little 1 inch USB key or memory card to have the only copy of anything important. they're meant for transporting data, not storing. I don't know of any tricks that would recover your files if you've never saved them on your computer. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have ever saved a file on your computer. Maybe you did at some point?

there may have been a lot of excellent bands playing regularly and touring across canada that really helped get people going and getting together online. nero, bnb, gtb (still at it!), blue quarter... and so many more.
