Sounds great! I will let you know my camping situation. I am meeting a buddy down there and he has camping reserved but I am not sure the details. So if there is room for more people I hope you guys will camp with me!

Tara, I'm so pumped! How far will you be from the festy grounds? I assume you will be driving to and from daily?
  4. The first time I saw Caution Jam I was 18 at the Comfort Zone. In high school it was the place to go for music. I did see some good shows there. Merl Saunders, Richie Havens, Gov't Mule, Michael Falzarano, Ominous Seapods. Put me on the jamband track early on:) Isn't the Silver Dollar and CZ owned by Cosmic's brother? Wonder what will become of the Dollar in the future.

I can't wait! I have been playing the mandolin for the past little while. Really have my chops down and can semi keep up with the picking. I can play a mean Angeline the Baker! I can't wait for Mando workshops! Have been going to the Greyfox BG festival for years but I can't pass the opp for Merlefest. Where do you camp/stay Giggles?

    Merlefest

I'm going to check out Merlefest at the end of April. The line-up looks incredible. All the bluegrass heavy hitters. Sam Bush, Doc Watson, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Tim O'brien. As well Hot Buttered Rum and Old Crow Medicine show and Levon Helm! The line-up goes on and on as well its 4 days with a Saturday night late night jam. Anyone ever been, have any suggestions? I'm meeting my buddy and his 3 year old daughter there and they have camping all set up. My dad is drooling over the line-up as well and I think he is going to come too. He wants to stay in a B+B but I highly doubt there will be anything available, its forsure all booked up. If anyone is interested in coming let me know, we got a big car:)
  7. I am on episode 5. Its crazy, I really like it.
  8. So I want to send a show via sendspace. Its under 300mb which looks to be the SS limit. My question is how do I send the whole show and not each track? When I try to upload it only lets me do a track and not the whole file. I DLed the sendspace wizard tool but am a little confused with the directions, anyone know how to do this? Is there a better sendspace like program to use? Thanks skanks...I know when I have questions this is a great place to have them answered.
  9. Played with Legion of Mary, Zero RIP
  10. I know Tut, Uncle Earl and the Country Gentlemen. Looking through it, great site. I have seen it before but have never spent a lot of time looking.
  11. Holy Hartford Heaven
  12. So I have been diving into John Hartford's work thanks to PT Yonder. There is a thread with some live stuff and albums that are being posted. He is a fantastic writer and plays a mean fiddle and Banjo. Yonder Mountain String Band does a lot of Hartford covers. Hartford Link
  13. One of my favorite versions of Shelter from the Storm
  14. hehehe, I felt the same way at the Casbah. I had the same experience. I enjoyed seeing Collett much more at the Mod Club and Harbourfront.
  15. I remember that GOTV, it was rainy and muddy and Buddy Miles kept coming out to play. He also requested a song and snuck in with Hornsby for The Way it is. He was the Whore of the GOTV that year forsure!
  16. Tent City is great as well. Its a little north, I think around Steeles but I get most of my gear there. Cheaper than MEC.
  17. Mark is incredible as well!! Go check out this show!
  18. Did he play the PJC last year?
  19. Wassink! Why didn't we listen to that on the way home? I thought Marco was getting a wake up call?!
