  3. Halloween costumes are always fun/weird/bizzarre: Halloween is around the corner. And with it comes an annual chance for normally conservative women to dress like sluts and local cougars to blend in a little better. This year 3Wishes.com adds to the old standards of slutty nurse, slutty catwoman, and slutty police officer with slutty eating disorder by introducing the "Anna Rexia" costume . We doubt they grasp the irony of stuffing a busty model into a costume that invokes anorexia nervosa much less the idea that this costume whips up more female body issues than every season of Baywatch combined. But they are an equal opportunity offender. The get up is available in a plus size just in case big-boned chicks want to get in on the screw-with-the-mentally-afflicted Halloween action.

  8. http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ConcertDetail.aspx?id=20050361|6046 Roger Daltrey Orpheum Theatre Boston, MA 12/08/1985 Tracks: 14 Total Time: 1:20:36 Roger Daltrey - vocals Mark Williamson - keyboards, vocals John Siegler - bass Stuart Elliott - drums Clem Clemson - guitars Alan Shacklock - keyboards Guest: Russ Ballard - guitar, lead vocals on “Your Time Is Gonna Come†Roger Daltrey had spent over two decades as the charismatic lead vocalist for the Who when he decided to embark on his first solo U.S. tour. Daltrey had seen some limited success with a number of solo albums that included Daltrey, Ride a Rock Horse, One of the Boys, and Under a Raging Moon. This tour was launched to promote Under a Raging Moon, the solo album generally regarded as his most ambitious. Daltrey had written the title track as a tribute to his late friend, Keith Moon, the Who’s bombastic drummer who died tragically from a combination of pills and alcohol in 1978. After a three year absence, the Who reunited in 1985 for the Live Aid concert in London. It was at that show that they performed “After The Fire,†which was a new track Pete Townshend had written for Daltrey’s solo album. Daltrey had hoped it would instigate a full blown Who reunion (that would have to wait until 1989) but it did lend a spark to the solo project nonetheless. During this performance (one of three from this tour taped for the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio series), Daltrey performs a healthy mix of solo tracks and Who classics, though his solo material could be considered banal in comparison to the Who hits. He does play inspired versions of “Giving It All Away†and “Under A Raging Moon.†Among the Who classics he does in the show are “Substitute,†“Pictures of Lily,†and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.†Credit must also be given to his excellent solo band which included former members of Humble Pie, Argent, Foreigner and Todd Rundgren’s Utopia.

  10. Nice. Thanks for posting those setlists. Seven different songs on the second night?! Wow. Looks like he's mixing it up nice for those multi-night stays, and for people seeing more than one show. Less than a week until the ACC gig Can't wait. Must stay healthy
  11. Another One!!??!! Another Toe-Tapping Republican Caught In Sting - Ends Senate Bid By: Logan Murphy on Monday, October 8th, 2007 at 10:46 AM - PDT Via Down With Tyranny: Another Republican elected official– a pal of David Diapers Vitter no less– caught toe-tappin’ in the boys room! And he wants wanted to be a state senator too! Yesterday’s Times-Picayune painted another dismal picture of another Republican pervert who trawls from public restroom to public restroom looking for… love? Well, looking for something. Joey DiFatta is the chairman of St. Bernard Parish Council and a prominent Republican leader (until 2004 on the GOP state party Executive Committee). He just withdrew from his state senate race, after his arrests for lewd behavior in a public restroom were made public. Read more... From the Times-Picayune article it appears DiFatta may have been Larry “Super Tuber†Craig’s mentor:

  21. Wayy too much fuss is being made over who they should start. I think they did it the right way. Now there's no question that Toskala should be getting the starts (#1) and leave Raycroft to think about where he's going to be shipped to this year. The Leafs "invested" 3 draft picks and $4 million right? Get use out of it. I heard this morning that the Leafs are still paying $700,000 towards Belfour's salary this year!!! Now THAT'S gotta sting.
  22. Unfuckingbelievable! http://thinkprogress.org/2007/10/04/coulter-gardner/ More here too, along with how she committed voter FRAUD in Florida nonetheless! http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Coulter_If_we_took_away_womens_1003.html
