It's one of the smaller rooms at the Civic Centre in Ottawa at Lansdowne Park. No idea if it's licensed or not. Mostly used for trade shows. There have been a few other shows there recently but I didn't attend them.

Kitchener Bluesfest announced Pinetop Perkins died? Isn't that common knowledge? Huh?

Yeah, I saw a few songs from a few bands in that tent but I left because the venue sucked shit.

How funny are they?

Does routing even matter for U2? They'll probably be based out of NYC for all these shows anyways. Their trucks can get to all the dates no problem. Having said that, I really don't think U2 will be playing Bluesfest. But that's probably what Monahan wants everyone to think right now. Oh and if that's the case, prepare to pay through the nose this year.

So they can release shows for their own benefit the same night of the show, but they are delaying the release of a show for charity by three weeks? No doubt the money will still be needed then (although who knows where the public eye will be focused then) and they've done a TON for charity over the years but this seems strange to me.
