  1. i guess i should add that i don't really know the ins and outs of 'remastering' other than it's intended to make recordings sound cleaner, among other things. it'd be best for an audio person to weigh in and explain what really goes on.
  2. over the past 4 years the entire catalogue has been remastered, in both stereo and mono versions
  3. technically the original releases were on vinyl 40-ish years ago
  4. There are a lot of sites sharing these new mixes. I've been listening to the Stereo Remasters all weekend. Lovely.
  5. 'Sarah Through the Wall' was my highlight of the night, along with the last 20 minutes of the P&A set.
  6. i *think* that wicked blues tune the Barrs played was an old Blues Project tune. That was smokin'. What a great night. I've never seen the Sheep so packed.

  11. It's a big birthday if you believe that multiples of 10 have more meaning than multiples of other numbers. Here's something of note: The opener for Sunday's Plants and Animals show at the Sheep is Berithen Berio, which is Brad and Andrew Barr's new project. Slip forum please.
  12. I will be at the Saturday night show! Pumped! My birthday week starts with The Hip and ends with Sufjan Stevens at Le Cabaret the next Friday. Not bad at all.
