  2. My thought exactly. Poor little white boys!

  5. Ollie and I bought our tickets already, seats 9 and 11, right on aisle of row E, centre section. Heather, yep, you should go to this! You saw their Lamb Lies Down on Broadway show, right? This is great little venue also. It's been renovated recently too and I haven't seen its new look yet.
  6. Oh yeah, that's right...and then you complain about what I brought you back!
  7. Yeah, I always get excited about the free breakfast but I know deep down that there is no way I'll be able to wake up for it. But people like my parents always take advantage of the free breakfast...they don't drink and go to bed early.
  8. Yes, late check-out is very important. All of Ollie's suggestions are what I look for also in a hotel, plus: - secure indoor parking - room service - the Food Network on TV is a plus - tourist magazines in the room, and local maps - not just a little shampoo, but also conditioner - a little fridge to store our own beer etc. - free local newspaper - no knocks or calls from the maid asking us if we need anything (they should pay attention to the Do Not Disturb sign) - corkscrew and bottle opener in the room. Haha! Now Ollie and I sound very high-maintenance, don't we?! Those suggestions are things I expect from large chains in cities. I also love little motels by the side of the road that don't offer many of those services.
  9. Bonne fête Madame Huxtable! Hope you took today off!! People should not work on their birthdays.
  10. Didn't we see them at Irene's a few years ago? Maybe that was someone else.
  11. I saw Bullmoose once I think (Ollie, correct me if I saw them more than once or if I never saw them at all!). I liked them.
  12. I gotta hang out with Hux more!
  13. Ah, this is a day late...but BONNE FÊTE maman Myrna! We've got to get you and Ollie's mom to party together one of these days!
  14. I'll be 420 months in 4 months! I should try to enjoy being 416 months right now!
  15. Oh wow! Ollie, let's clean up the apartment this weekend! (just kidding...I know you'd like to set up a computer/video console museum room when we get a house one day!)
  16. Why do you think I've been with Ollie for 17 years!! Also, I can't decide yet if I like men or women...Ollie's a perfect mix!
  17. More information here: http://www.artbank.ca/The+Collection/Purchase+Program+Information/
  18. Oh my! Thanks for letting me know...we have a few of his artworks in the Art Bank collection (where I work): http://www.artbank.ca/ARCA/20079248055/index.html
  19. I saw you, I saw you, I saw you!! Unless there's more than one CTV balloon, I saw you on my way over to Ollie's place at around 6:20pm, over Vanier. Does that sounds about right? Way cool!! I thought to myself "Hmmm. Maybe Sharon and Mike are in that balloon and I can't even say Hello".
  20. Cool! Do you know what the balloon looks like, if there's a logo on it or something? I often see balloons around my place.
  21. Is Beck even touring right now? I've wanted to see Beck for years, but I guess I'm not trying hard enough to make it happen. I got turned off when I heard he was into Scientology. Too bad about Marissa Ribisi also being a Scientologist. I liked her in Dazed and Confused.
  22. I'll be there!! I would've gone to see them anyway, even if I wasn't already in Montreal for Genesis. So this is a real treat. Can someone make sure they only start at around 11pm and play till say, 3am?!
  23. Phorbesie, I'm glad to hear you and Velvet will be at the Genesis show! Of course, Ollie and I will be there! Going to the Montreal show on Friday night, followed by Govt Mule. Then back to Ottawa on Saturday for another Genesis show. It'll be a wonderful musical weekend! The Montreal prog festival is also taking place this weekend ( www.fmpm.net ), but we won't have time for that! I hope the Genesis shows are able to capture a little bit of Gabriel's artistry and passion, even if he's not there. Either way, I'm sure I'll have a great time! I'm expecting some cheesiness from Collins, and I'm OK with that.
