Ok this is gettin' outta hand now.
I listen to "Rosanna" "Africa" & "Waiting for your love" at least 3 times a day each, not mentioned live recrodings I've sourced, since the addiction began.
I got hooked on TOTO again via the "Yacht ROck" and since then it's ben like crack. So well produced, So smooth, so emotionally fragile, yet unavaiable and funky at times.
I need help......
But I reommened this album in selective dosages...
(although some tracks are downright painful..but when it's good..damn. it's good..,,just like crack....
)
Bottom line..how did this dude (Steve Porcaro)
Score this hottie (Rosanna Aquette):

Whattya call a guitarist without a girlfriend?
Homeless.
HOLY SHIT! I'm homeless ! Egads! I never knew. Wowo this really explains a lot. Am I eligable for some goverment assistance now?

If chilling out means passing out on the comedown of 6 e's, some PCP and chatting with a dude on the nod from some heroin on a lazy Sunday, then yes best chillout spot.
Get high and come down smooth.

COlon Blow! I forgot about this. Hillarious.

Hey has anyone tried colon cleansing as part of the detox process.
What I am talking about is one of those clinics, that cleans out your colon by, flushing it with filtred, temp controled water. It can, remove old stored toxins and help evrrything in your digestion run smooth again. Seems logical if one was going to embark on a serious detox.
I haven't gone there myself as of yet? anyone, good bad, waste of cash and pain int he ass (punn intended.)..

I was out at Galactic last night, and some people were asking me where this Crowbar venue was.
So let me be clear. Crowbar is at 577 King St. West., between Spadina & Bathurst on the South side, just past a strip club (which I'm sure you're all farmilliar with) called "For Your Eyes Only".
There is a sign out front, and it's kinda semi-underground. Shouldn't be that hard to find.
See ya' there.

Burlington VT. Oh well that makes sense now. I'm not nearly as excited now.
All worked up for nothing.
-
I was wondering this too. I think king sunshine would not have egnough space on stage for the whole band. Looks like a side project with KS guitarist Phil.
-
Hmmm. Wonder if these dudes have ever heard of this band...
Ry Cooder's and Taj Mahal's firts project. Killer shuffle blues act although short lived.m Highly recomended album.
-
Cool. I didn't know about the chalkboard, that's hip.
Hey ho was the sound and monitoring from a performers point of view. GoodRev?
I've been there to see shows, but never played there yet?
What's the deal?

What a cocksucker. I hope he gets a case of verial warts that get infected and result in his dick being amputated.
I don't want to live in Harper's little USA vision!
-
I was there Mr.Slippery. Great show. King Sunshine kicke serious disco ass! And the sound up there was great. Looks like they've upgraded a bunch in there in terms of sound equipment.
Fort Knox 5 was enjoyable too, he was doing many on the fly remixes with old classic rock records and bed tracks of breaksbeats on cd, then syncing them by hand. Simple but effective.
Good times, great turnout.

A late reply I sure but happiest of birthday wishes BradM. And thanks for holding down the Ottawa scene and recording all those local jam-band shows for us to enjoy.
Mad respect!

Are there going to visuals at this Jaydawg?
-
No not really posh. It looks better now. It used to be Area 51 a basment type rave club, where you could be raging high and fit in perfectly. My kinda joint!
Did you ever end up there in the past Jaydawg?
-
It just keeps getting spicer! So glad I bought a ticket this year!
-
Hey I was at the venue the other night, I didn't realize that this place is the old Volume lounge and before that it was area 51, an old school DJ venue from the mid to late 90's.
What old is new again. They have revamped a litte inside though.
-
Hey Gang,
What in your opinion is the best low price mp3/digitlal music player?
I need a low to mid price player that is decent, my old one died, and I'm saving up for a more expensive portable FLAC player, but until then I need a cheapie to get me by.
Suggestions?
-
weren't they part of one of those early 90's touring festivals/shows?
i have a furtherfest? show from early 90's with a soundboard recording of BNL.
They were part of one of the last H.O.R.D.E. tours tat came to Toronto. They played decent but most of the crowd left for the other stage that Gov't Mule was playing. Then a wave of University/College perp-jock types moved in from the other areas. Weird scene.
Sat.April15:The Chameleon Project w/Skyhook@ Crowbar THANKS ALL!
