  1. I'm with ya brother, I've been sick with the case of the smooth all winter, and yact rock season is just heatin'n up. Bring on the mesh shoes and the sweet sounds..

And by god that Beach Boys album looks as smooth as Rosanna Aquette's ass! I'm gonna go get it and ween myself of this TOTO.

    Thanks!

  3. :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o Ok this is gettin' outta hand now. !!! I listen to "Rosanna" "Africa" & "Waiting for your love" at least 3 times a day each, not mentioned live recrodings I've sourced, since the addiction began.

I got hooked on TOTO again via the "Yacht ROck" and since then it's ben like crack. So well produced, So smooth, so emotionally fragile, yet unavaiable and funky at times.

    I need help......

But I reommened this album in selective dosages...

    (although some tracks are downright painful..but when it's good..damn. it's good..,,just like crack.... :o )

  4. Hey has anyone tried colon cleansing as part of the detox process.

What I am talking about is one of those clinics, that cleans out your colon by, flushing it with filtred, temp controled water. It can, remove old stored toxins and help evrrything in your digestion run smooth again. Seems logical if one was going to embark on a serious detox.

I haven't gone there myself as of yet? anyone, good bad, waste of cash and pain int he ass (punn intended.).. :o

  5. I was out at Galactic last night, and some people were asking me where this Crowbar venue was.

So let me be clear. Crowbar is at 577 King St. West., between Spadina & Bathurst on the South side, just past a strip club (which I'm sure you're all farmilliar with) called "For Your Eyes Only".

There is a sign out front, and it's kinda semi-underground. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

    See ya' there.

  6. I was there Mr.Slippery. Great show. King Sunshine kicke serious disco ass! And the sound up there was great. Looks like they've upgraded a bunch in there in terms of sound equipment.

Fort Knox 5 was enjoyable too, he was doing many on the fly remixes with old classic rock records and bed tracks of breaksbeats on cd, then syncing them by hand. Simple but effective.

    Good times, great turnout. :)

  7. weren't they part of one of those early 90's touring festivals/shows?

i have a furtherfest? show from early 90's with a soundboard recording of BNL.

They were part of one of the last H.O.R.D.E. tours tat came to Toronto. They played decent but most of the crowd left for the other stage that Gov't Mule was playing. Then a wave of University/College perp-jock types moved in from the other areas. Weird scene.
