  1. myspace.com/rockysaugeen pm the good rev. There is a show this saturday so It may not be possible, but worth a try if they're desparate to play the hammer.
  2. I'll never forget it. My friend calls me at 6pm friday to ask if i want to go...His parents drove us out from toronto, caught a movie and picked us up after the show. Our seats were at the back of the floor section...I remember the whole stage having this tremendous shine to it...the lights all sparkley playing off the drum kit hardware, intertwining with the music. it was like a massage for my brain. That got the ball rolling for me, catching every jazz fest and amphitheatre show I could afford. All while enjoying each show high high high. oh man...Sing another prairie tune!!!
  3. RUNNING BACK TO SASKATOON. WOW. I too was disappointed about the mega jam being so short, but what they lacked in time they made up with content. I couldn't have guessed in a million years that we'd hear Running back to Saskatoon...a song near and dear to me. They did a stellar job, may as well have been the guess who on stage (jeff did an admirable b.Cummings). My first concert ever was in grade nine, saw the Guess Who in a small guelph hockey arena. I guess you can say i became a slave to the groove at that point, walking in to the show rip-roarin' high for the first time at a concert, to my delight hearing Saskatoon in full swing. I haven't recalled that unique emotion for a long time, thank you so much for reminding me where it all started. There is a good chance I wouldn't have found this awesome community had it not been for that first show which pushed me in the right direction. I'm still giddy about hearing it last night!!!
  4. Speedbump is the most rootin' tootin' good-time 'under the sea' enchantment song ever.
  5. now they just need to figure out a suit that makes you be able to catch thermals. I was curious about the wind currents when you fly close to a cliff wall like that. Would it possble to catch a sudden gust...or something like a thermal which would throw you out of controll? and possibly into the wall... Is it possible that this video is filmed in a decieving manner and that they are falling towards the ground faster then we think they are? 'cause they seem to be going pretty horrizonal...at the point the dude goes past the road he looks to be going less than 30 degrees below the horizon...but it feels like it should be like 60 or 70 degrees below the horizon. When he goes by the road it looks just like a jumbo jet coming in for a landing.

  14. just to warn you, they've lost their bizzaro Phil-like drummer. This would be the 3rd farewell tour I believe...the singer is done after this and the band will contiune with a Trick of the Tail later in 2008. This is CONFIRMED by their european managment wiventertainment.com How did you think to check the venue website for tickets? There is nothing on the official site, ticketmaster, pollstar..etc
