    Movies?

Watched it last night. Brilliant character study' date=' and as Jaimoe said, a very well done psychological drama. It's not an action flick, so temper your expectations accordingly - a lot of people seem to not like the length or the pacing. Both worked fine for me, but I'm also ever-hungry for any re-telling of that story. (Incidentally, the 1986 TV-movie "The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James" featuring Johnny Cash as Frank James and Kris Kristofferson as Jesse James is worth watching if you can dig up a copy. June Carter Cash is in it too - how fucking cool is that?) I really enjoyed the re-make of 3:10 too. The Assassination ... is a very different kind of movie, though. Worth a go, at least. [/quote'] Just watched this tonight, and must add my voice to the chorus of praise here. Quite enjoyable. Thanks for the reviews, pumped to see this even more, I had forgotten about it...ha
  8. I have not seen the movie, but had the unfortunate expirence of hearing a mouldy peaches song one morning a few weeks ago on some stupid morning show, where they were on promoting themselves and the movie... it was a trainwreck that I could not look away from and was floored at how they could be popular and someone actually wanted to use there monotone nothingless music in a movie... to their defense, I only heard the one song...and have not seen the movie...that one song was really really REALLY bad though
  9. Sorry if this has been posted already, I tried to do a search on here but didn't find anything. If you have not seen this documentary yet, find it and watch it asap Here is the website: http://www.beforethemusicdies.com/blog/b4md Some of my fav highligts from it are: Erykah Badu's comments - hilariously wacky and Hearing Doyle Bramhall's story and the clip of him and Clapton rippin' it up...awesome. For those of you that have not seen this I hope you get the chance to enjoy it as much as we did
