Well... in the case of the Luongo and Pronger, the new contracts haven't started yet (no exchange of goods). But yeah, in the real world (as opposed to world of contract law) they already approved the deals.

The Devils were already going to have to move somebody (Rolston?) to fit the voided contract in.
