ouch. i hope it works out. fingers cross for you. fwiw, if you use water, you might want to consider using distilled if possible. loads of houses in guelph have stained exterior brick because of the hard minerals in local water that soaks in and dries a hazy white when people power wash their bricks.

why do you want to wash the bricks? i like the look of a stained, sooty fireplace. makes it look well-loved.

I just spent about 30 minutes playing with our dog and her dozens of stuffed squeeky toys rolling around the floor with Storage Wars and Sirius radio on. She's played out now and licking herself. Dogs are great.

We had dinner at a nice vegetarian place called Blossom in Chelsea before Phish NYE.

best seat in the house! and no line up for the bathroom. looks like a great setlist this year too. fwiw, i did furthur nye last year in sanfran and it was a fantastic couple of shows. great venue, great people, great fun. you should dust off your dancin' shoes next year, HaMike and go.
