  5. sounds like your kid was pissing in the sandbox and this poor woman was just standing up for her rights ... well, either that, or she is a very bitter person who lost a lot of karma points at the expense of a 3yo. regardless. she does have that right. but, if you have been "invited" by another resident of the complex, then you would have the right to be there. good on you for not arguing and making a bad situation worse for your kid edit: besides, wouldn't you think anyone who actually contributed to such a large amount of money spent on a playground would want to see it used? it's not like you were taking away space from someone else.
  6. exactly, and then Canada, Russia, the US, Norway and Denmark will all have to duke it out, seeing as it falls within each of their waters.

  18. one of my highlights. fwiw, in the few days following the festival every year, I can never remember what I liked until someone asks did you like X? and then I realize, yeah, I loved them! my feet hurt. a lot.
  19. nicely put. really nice review. i can only imagine the looks on Shout Out's faces when they realized ... "What?! I thot you had it!" ... oops. Worked out fine, tho' and nobody was disappointed with the snafu. I've never seen so many people dancing on the tables in that tent before. Intense is a major understatement.
  20. so? ... thoughts? or, are y'all still passed out in your tents? Ani rocked, and Ron Sexsmith put on a great show too. The Slip was really fun (although they were disappointed with their set, Marc said afterwards) and they had a great time playing in their workshop with others (which they enjoyed much more) and people really enjoyed it. Some food portions are getting chintzy, though.
