  2. i have the DAT at home that was on up on etree for years, so if nothing else pops up, i can try to dig it out. wow, remember DATs? sadly, you are correct.
  3. Proctor & Gamble owns Iams and has defended itself against these charges for years. It acknowledges that third party contractors did engage in cruel practices up until 2002, but insists it has rigorously enforced a non-cruelty policy since then. The American Kennel Club has also issued a statement in support of the company. Although, both the AKC and Proctor & Gamble statements have been rejected as spin by many animal rights activists. I sense that there is a bit of truth to all of this, and its not as black and white as the PETA pages say. Recall that P&G is also the company whose logo was deemed satanic by many, resulting in the company actually changing it.
  4. sounds like he's cured not so sure ... take a look at Gayle ...

  6. where do you go when the lights go out? the best Hood ever was Albany 12-13-97, when trey asked kuroda to turn out the lights for the most rockin' glowstick war ever!
  7. arent their shows a bit controversial, in that they perform in costume and no-one has every really been sure that its actually them "playing"?

  10. it raises an interesting point, tho. what natural resources will become the new oil / copper / diamonds of the 21st century, and who owns them now. water, for sure, but what else?
  11. ive always had short hair and occasionally am told I look like a cop. one day i was walking thru the lot before a dead show at the palace in auburn hills and a kid runs up to me and asks what kind of shoes im wearing. "airwalks", i tell him. he runs back to his buddies, "See! I told you! Cops dont wear airwalks!" moral of the story: cops dont wear airwalks. an undercover cop car was trolling the lot before a phish show in hampton. it stopped suddenly when they heard that ever-popular "pfffffffttttttttt" sound and noticed the line-up and spent balloons. three, less-than-athletic cops tumbled out and ran after the sellers who scattered immediately. no luck, they got away. and so too did the evidence, when a couple of passers-by simply grabbed the tank and left with it before the cops returned. moral of the story: have at least one cop stay with the tank.

    Static Cling

my mom just had a bathroom reno done too and they said a fan wasn't necessary. curious, she priced it and it was going to be over $1000 just for that. she declined. it was explained, they have to vent all the way up and thru the roof, not just into the attic, and that ups the cost significantly. as far as the static goes. i'd suggest you live with it, keep the lights low, and get a couple of fuzzy cats to enjoy the hilarity.
