I have a friend who never votes yet loves to sound off about this or that government wrongdoing or political malady. I think I have decided to never respond if he ever again wishes to engage in any sort of political discussion. Maybe I've had too much koolaid but sorry, you have to at least have the decency to vote if you want anyone to listen to your say.

This is a great result! Very happy to see a Green finally elected to Parliament. (Blair Wilson was elected as a Liberal in West vancouver in 2006, but changed to the Green Party in 2007 and thus became the first Green Party Member of Parliament. May is the first to actually be elected as a Green.)

a lot of both, i think. iggy sure didn't inspire liberals to stand firm and they caved. very disappointing overall. in guelph we did manage to stave off the idiot conservative candidate and returned our liberal. small consolation.

there are loads of conservative gay people. but yeah, it's a bit sad that a gay man, a federal minister even, can sleep at night knowing his own party devalues him as a person and would rather he not have the right to marry or even have a parade. he actually has the ear of the prime minister and it would sure seem that he is choosing not to stand up for what is right.

i really dont understand how anyone can support harper. he really is, has been, and will always be a very very dangerous man. the race here in Guelph is very tight as well. sending out good vibes to our Liberal incumbent Frank Valeriote. i hope reason prevails here on monday and across the country.

I can't believe how they have managed to maintain the intensity through 3 seasons. I will give this show the greatest opening scene ever too. have just started watching this, only a couple episodes in to S1. i wasnt really prepared for it. wasnt sure if i should laugh or throw up. intense is an understatement. loving downloads of community and chuck too. we have a boxee box. go from pc to tv via wifi. can surf too. recommend it if you don't want cables or need to go far in the house.
