$1005! woohoo! got tipped over the 1000 mark yesterday with some kind donations. and one more cheque is still coming in the mail... moneys were given today and will go on to help burmese cyclone victims, via a network of monks. air asia is super cheap for flying around. it's based in malaysia so flights are plentiful from there. the hub is johor baru which is just across the bridge from singapore. check them out!

i just got to meet the puppy! na na na na na na she is the TINIEST thing ever and just as cute. it was so cute to see her jump around like crazy and then get all sleepy and relaxed. i wish she could've come home with me

LOVE olives. green are the best. i love in spain and portugal how you get tasty olives with every meal...mmmm. i could eat a whole jar of garlic stuffed if i'm not careful. the trader joe's ones are the best!! i find other brands have the garlic too crunchy...any recommendations on brands here?

i make quesadillas alot too....just cheese and fresh salsa. or fried rice. i fry up mushrooms, green onions and an egg, then add cooked rice and soy sauce.

i'm sorry for making that complaint, i was just a bit sad that night about the turnout, but it didn't last long. i had a great time at the show too. i'd never organized a show before and it was really fun! i am very very happy with what we all managed to contribute and with the results! thanks everyone for your encouragement. i have a bunch of people to thank...will post again shortly!
