This show was fantastic. Beautiful brand new venue that the Hammer so desperately needs as with time we've lost a lot of spaces.
The band was new to me. Super tight, great originals, you can feel the Dead and Allmans influence when they open things up. An engaging and captivating frontman and I was really impressed by their multinstrumentalist keyboard player who also busted out the fiddle and acoustic guitar. Great harmonies all around and a packed enthusiastic crowd.
I honestly had almost forgotten what it's like. Grateful.

Yep, I get you. Plus, I'll take all the posts anyone cares to make! Sorry I can't be of any help though.
But yeah, as bouche said Irene's is great and I think they do have an open mic night but I don't know which night that is.
In other news, it appears that I picked the right year to move to a remote island and stop going to concerts!

Never lost power, thank goodness!! Impressed. Wind was totally nuts. The lane had well over a metre of snow, but it got cleared yesterday and i went to the grocery store today!! Velvet was/ is visiting his mom in FL and hasn't been able to get home. He would love to be here logging about the storm!

    Radiohead Public Library!
Radiohead have launched a new online archive of their work, called Radiohead Public Library, as well as releasing previously unavailable rarities to streaming services.
Hosted at radiohead.com, the site features archival material grouped around each of the band’s nine studio albums, including music videos, live TV performances, artwork and the group’s quarterly w.a.s.t.e. newsletter series. It also links to the frequently bizarre, nightmarish and labyrinthine previous iterations of their website.
“Radiohead.com has always been infuriatingly uninformative and unpredictable,” the band wrote on Twitter. “We have now, predictably, made it incredibly informative.”
Visitors can create a downloadable library card, featuring a QR code that takes the holder to the website for data protection initiative GDPR. Out-of-print T-shirt designs from each era of the band’s history can be custom-made via the site. Each of the five band members will curate a selection of the archival material on their social media channels this week.
The band have also uploaded songs that were previously unavailable on streaming services, including their first ever release, 1992’s Drill EP; the 2005 song I Want None of This from charity compilation Help! A Day in the Life

You are right Kev...stay away from PTBM. Unless there is "pit only" or "reserved only" as options. I haven't checked yet.

I was so excited until I realized I will be away that week and can't go.
    Have fun folks!
On the heels of announcing their new album, South of Reality, The Claypool Lennon Delirium has shared the LP’s second single, “Easily Charmed By Fools”. In addition, the band has announced a 12-date 2019 spring tour.
The Claypool Lennon Delirium—led by Les Claypool and Sean Lennon—will open up their tour at Toronto, ON’s Danforth Music Hall on April 10th before stopping at Philadelphia, PA’s Fillmore (4/12); New Haven, CT’s College Street Music Hall(4/13); Boston, MA’s House of Blues (4/14); Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Steel (4/16); Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club (4/17); Asheville, NC’s Orange Peel (4/19); Nashville, TN’s Marathon Music Works (4/20); St. Louis, MO’s Delmar Hall (4/23); Minneapolis MN’s Varsity Theater (4/25); Chicago, IL’s Thalia Hall (4/26); and Detroit, MI’s Majestic Theatre (4/27).
In October, The Claypool Lennon Delirium announced the coming release of their second album together, South of Reality, due out February 22 via ATO. South of Reality is the follow-up to 2016’s Monolith of Phobos, the band’s debut record that displayed their fascinatingly raw authenticity, and 2017’s Lime And Limpid Green EP, which featured psychedelic covers of Pink Floyd, The Who, King Crimson, and Flower Travellin’ Band.

    SPAC was a great time!
Gorgeous day, ate BBQ, very chill older crowd, lots of GD shirts. Nathaniel Rateliff's set was plagued by bad sound, so not great. Sturgill's set ripped. So so loud, almost too loud. Well yes it actually was too loud, but I like it loud so... He was awesome. Neil and the Promise of the Real was undoubtedly the best set of the night. The Four Neils, haha, you know how he does a lunge, bend over, thrash on guitar, lunge and stomp, etc. So he was doing that but so were the three other guys up front (Lukas, the other guitar player and bass player). they were all dressed similarly and sometimes when they would get into a circle or huddle and all four be doing the lunges and jumps it was just sooo funny. Tell Me Why, Heart of Gold, Powderfinger, Lotta Love, Show Me, Are you ready for the country, Love to Burn, Ohio, a new song, and I'm forgetting a few. Closed with a great Rockin in the Free World. Willie's set was Ok. His age is showing in his playing and his voice is not strong, there were some nice singalongs, but overall a mellow set, a family vibe. Beautiful night with an almost full moon in the sky.

Really enjoyed this year also! Highlights for me were the Foo, DMB, Sturgill, and just the fact that most every night there were friends to be found at the fest, like days of yore.
    good job everybody!

phorbesie got a reaction from Booche in Trey with Phil and Bobby in NYC last night (3/3/2018)
    Awesome!
Velvet and I drove down to NYC for the show after our flight down Friday got cancelled. So glad we made it! Seeing Bob and Phil side by side on stage together warmed the cockles of my heart. Then Trey came out and poured gasoline on the cockles and set them ablaze
Such a great show, sweet venue and great night in NYC. i felt totally blissful. I love that Trey is their jam buddy, it makes me so happy. It was all pretty loose and flubby, sure but I couldn't have been happier. I loved the Wheel and Dark Star especially. Can't wait to watch this again, and the first night. I took some nice pictures but unfortunately my camera doesn't seem to have saved any of them!
I think the show ended right at midnight, so maybe they had to scrap Estimated due to time constraints?  Phil also mentioned that he was tired.
