I had one of those Tim Horton breakfast sandwhiches this morning and it was life saving. I could eat about ten more of them right now if given the chance.

I freakin hope so. In KW they only ever cancelled everything once this year - and it was the day before the first snowfall. They prepared us for armageddon and all we got was 1/2 an inch. Since then we've been bombarded with snow and crappy weather and evrything continues as though nothing has changed. Hell, I even saw a girl jog by my house one morning during the last big hit. People are saying everything's gonna be cancelled tomorrow, but I dont buy it. Im gonna wake up, see nothing but white outside, call my kids daycare, and they'll be like, oh ya, were open, bring him in. Hal goes to work. Boo-urns.

Id say its an educated guess (just to bud in to the convo). Wouldnt you be doing Heavy Metal size rails in between strippers boobs if you were young, rich, and in the NHL? Especially when your only playing half the time?

:grin: Meaning alernative schools in T.O. dont pick out certain cultures or skin colours and focus programs on them.

Also, there are 36 'alternative' schools run by the Toronto board already. I don't know if that's relevant, but they have specialized programs for the students that go there. All this article tells me is that adding an African Heritage class to middle schools, especially those at Jane and Finch is a great idea. And the alternative schools in Toronto arent all that alternative. They're just more like university, or geared towards drop outs. I know, I went to one!

I dont know...my first thought is that it seems rather dumb - okay - extremely dumb. Is there proof that this will give the kids a better education? Cuz if thats the only reasoning, theres a whole lot of other negatives that would out-weigh that one positive.
