it is with global village canada, who sends out teams internationally. it's the head office in waterloo [they currently have only 4 staff, they just started up last year].

try 'la couronne' - we stayed there during jazzfest '99 - it felt like we were in a brothel in the 70s [and not in a good way... if there is a good way]. but it was cheap and i bet they'll have a room!

we had tortilla-making lessons from some little guatemalan chicas when we were down there, they make them from their garage to sell to people. they called the balls of masa "bolitos," and they smacked those little suckers into tortillas in about 10 seconds! it was something.

i was at mexicali's on friday, i had the club quesadilla and it was yummmmm. and a bucket of baby coronas. i used to work at "taco time" in chatham. it was better than taco bell but chatham just wasn't ready for a second taco joint. mmm tacos!
