  1. 11/13/11 (Sun) First Niagara Center - Buffalo, NY Set 1: Music Never Stopped, Alabama Getaway > Greatest Story Ever Told, Built to Last > Operator, Mission in the Rain, Dupree's Diamond Blues, Hard to Handle, Gimme Some Lovin' Set 2: Jam > Truckin' > Smokestack Lightning > Truckin' > Jam > Bird Song, China Cat Sunflower > Crazy Fingers > Polythene Pam (1) > She Came In Through The Bathroom Window > Terrapin Station Suite > Standing On The Moon > Turn On Your Lovelight E: Johnny B. Goode Definite highlights for me were Mission in the Rain into Dupree's Diamonds. Really most of second set was pretty sweet. The Terrapin into Standing on the Moon is what resonates with me the most. Only real negative thing I can say is that Johnny B. Good is about the least impressionable song one could ever choose for an encore in my mind. I've seen them close twice with that, and meh. Otherwise I wish the music wouldn't stop.

    Lest We forget.

    Ha. Crazy. Didn't notice that.
  3. This will be fabulous! Enjoy. I'm sorry to have missed Toronto's show.

    Lest We forget.

Sending out love to so many who don't have the luxury of peace, and to those like myself who need to be reminded of how sweet it is to be fortunate enough to have the freedom to create it for ourselves and others when we choose to do so.
  5. Forty years old, and yet my three year old idolizes them. That makes me smile.
  6. Hi folks. Todd is once again involved in organizing this fundraiser for the Brain Injury Association. Thought I'd post in case anyone was interested. Tickets are $25 or I have access to a couple of freebies if that tweaks your interest further. Let me know. Headliner is Errol Blackwood and the Injah Band. Also Neil Murray Band (Duke of Ellington Roadhouse Band), Randy Stewart Rollo (formerly house band of Lulu's roadhouse), The Options and The Opportunities (the latter being comprised of survivors). Cheers. Oh. This takes place this coming Saturday Nov. 12th at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530, 19 Regina St. North (2nd floor), Waterloo. Starts at 6:30. I think last year it went to about midnight or so.
  7. Oh and nice meeting POG and jaybone for the first time (however briefly)
  8. Ha! Yeah that was a good one. And it was right below the eye actually, but no worries. No marks, and no uncomfortable explanations. It was great that we all seemed to just find each other, considering how packed it was. I went on to see Must Stash Hat play down the road, I believe the train carried on from there, but I had to bow out at that point.
  9. Good times folks. Place was packed. But the skanks owned the balcony.
  10. Why Ms. Kaidy Mae how excellent to see you poking around these parts!
  11. Very different info than what I heard was posted on facebook. Although this seems far more in line with the norm. So does anyone then know what the anticipated set times are for the aftershow? I was really hoping to catch me some Unseen Strangers as well as Mustashat but if with this new info maybe that won't all be possible? A great night of music to be sure.
  12. Hmmm...thanks POG. Figured if its supposed to be over by 10:30 and they're doing two sets that a nine start time would be a little tight. But the promoter should know so thanks for passing along the info. Looking forward to it!
  13. Any ideas when the show will start by? I see the tickets say 7:30 (presumably for doors). Show start by eight?
  14. Bad Santa You were missed...
  15. Great show. Great turnout. My favourite costumes were Walter Sobchak, Jesus & Lebowski... The ballshine was pretty priceless. Rip Van Winkle was also great. Thanks for all the chuckles folks.
  16. Anyone? Anyone? How was Toronto? Montreal?
  17. Wow, wow, wow! Beauty, power, presence. So so good.
  18. I believe the Fatties are planning on being on by 11. Two sets....
  19. With respect to "Ollie" I'm not sure why it has to be an either/or scenario.
  20. Oh man....I suppose a hundred isn't bad for a Tuesday night? Easy for me to say though I really wish I could have been there to get my funk on!! I hope he comes back.
